Hello! Whenever I link my page or when it appears on the wiki on a tag search or archive or anything really, it displays the second image on the page instead of the intended image which is the image in the character info box. It really bothers me! If anyone can fix it or tell me what I did wrong to cause it, please let me know!

Over on the hiveworkshop they have this thing where you can review someone's map and they will reivew yours back. It's something I always thought was really productive and great for the community.

I appreciate if someone tells me I have typos, continuity errors, or offers constructive criticism of my character's page and I am happy to return the favour. Is there something similar here, or would anyone be interested in starting something similar? Would anyone like me to proofread their character page and do the same in return for me?

I thought this would be better than just asking people to proof read my page randomly.

A page is using a photo of my (deceased) relative. How do I ask for the photo's removal?

My page was deleted on here.  It's been up for over a year.  Why was it removed?

Title self-explanatory; I put my character page up several months ago but due to varying circumstances and personal happenings I'd like to have it removed; either I'm really dense/blind and the option is there yet unseen, or the option to delete it is absent. Help would be appreciated.

There are a lot of firearms and what to know about them is difficult. Especially when you are trying to firgure out how to role play with one and what kind. Here are a few things to know.

There are three types of guns.

Musket, rifle and blunderbuss.

Some may think these are the same, but that is incorrect. Here are the diffrences.

Musket -  A musket is diffrent from a rifle because it is a smoothbore and is just a tube that a projectile shoots out of. Its range and accuracy is less effective then a rifle.

Rifle - A rifle is diffrent from a musket because the reason they call it a rifle is because inside the barrel there is a twisted groove inside the barrel called rifling. This causes the projectile to spin inside the barrel this would cause the firearm to be more accurate and shoot at a much farther range.

Blunderbuss -  A blunderbuss is just a shotgun, its ammunition consists of a pact cluster of metal or shrapnel in some cases. It is a smoothbore like a musket when set off these small projectiles would form a small cluster, but would expand when traveling a farther distance.

Does moderation mind if I make a forum post about what the diffrence between a blunderbuss, rifle and a musket is? I get some questions asking what the diffrence is and I want to help the community out if I can to discuss the diffrences between these and other firearms.

So we on the wiki admin team have made a few posts about this in our Discord about this, and now are making it here in the event someone isn't on our Discord. Recently we've seen a rise in small, almost useless edits, things that are just one or two characters, or a series of edits that are adding or changing minor stuff, or simple edits that just correct the spelling of a single word. Now for us, the administrators, that is a pain to sift through to allow us to properly moderate the wiki to make sure vandalism is caught and dealt with.

As such, we'd like to remind our entire community here to try and make your edits substantial, if you notice that a page has a spelling error, try to add stuff to it besides just editing it to correct the one word. Obviously, if your page is completed and you notice a spelling error that's not something that you can stop, just as your editing and creating all the wonderful fanon you guys create, please try and be mindful of your edits. It makes our job much easier, and allows us to respond much quicker to vandalism and other problems that show up on the wiki.

Since the Shal'dorei are throwing their lot in with Lady Liadrin, what will happen to the pages on this wikia, of alliance members occupying suramar city? Are you all planning on keeping a 1% neutral faction that didn't ally with the rest of the shal'dorei to keep your settlements? Just curious, because it does seem like it was a lot of time invested, to just lose everything.

Hi, I am having a hard time finding people to RP with and the official WOW forum is not the best of help because there are so many posts many get ignored. 

Most people I see in the game are already in groups and I don't really want to jump into a storyline. If I go to the main cities, the chat is just filled with OOC stuff....weird stuff. I don't have any friends to play with or start groups with...

I have applied to a few guilds but I don't know if they are active. I basically want a small casual guild, like under 50 people.

I really want to find people for Cali to kind of "look up to" or consider them like teachers almost, especially in Alchemy. Cali wants to become an alcehmist and is looking for a teacher. 

I also want people who are new to their adventures to RP with also.

I am just having a very hard time finding people. Any advice? 

Hi guys! This is my first time RPing and I want to make sure my character is okay lore wise. Could you maybe read through this and tell me? Maybe also give other opinions on format of the page or other things to add? The lore is what I am most concerned about though.

So I have made my first character and wish for her to be listed in the Alterac Human list, but I am not able to do this? Are there certain people who can do this after the check out a character's info? If so, could someone maybe add my character to the list.

Hi! I'm a WoW RPer but I'm actually from Wrymrest Accord, I was wondering if I was allowed to write out wiki articles for all my lore and stuff here because the Wrymrest Accord wiki is a tad more restrictive than the MG wiki and generally I prefer the style of the moonguard wiki more, I was wondering if that was alright or did the characters have to be from Moonguard?
