Aaron Sly is the second son of Jake Sly II, progenitor of House of Sly. Aaron was born in Stormwind City to Jake and Aleisha Sly and was sent as a young boy to Northshire in order to undertake the same education and training as his father did. Aaron's father hoped that his son would find the same passion in the heroic and honourable strength displayed in the knights stationed at Northshire and one day join him on the battlefield but Aaron instead drew his passion from the teachings and order conducted by the priests that contained the Brotherhood of Northshire. He is married to a Draenei woman named Sylali, who once formerly a student in his teachings and works in the Stormwind City Cathedral.
