Amorath in the hands of Valythra Bloodmoon.
Amorath, the Ravenous is the Runeblade of Valythra Bloodmoon, forged within the halls of Acherus at the request of Kora Deathwhisper. It is a hand and a half sword designed to fit Valythra's diminutive stature, often kept sheathed at her side.
Properties[]
Like its predecessor, Arbitian, the Royal, it is designed with Scourge runes of Blood Magic, however it possesses greater destructive potential through raw might and power, compared to Arbitian's more magical leanings. The blade seems to perpetuate hunger, which may come as a foreign experience to individuals who are not vampires and come to wield the weapon.
Owning up to its name, Amorath consumes blood on its own, literally drinking in blood through its runes and often resulting in the blade seeming clean and unused.

At the suggestion of Kora, Valythra named Amorath in reference to an ancient human warlord of Lordaeron by the same name. According to legend, Amorath drank the blood of his foes, earning him a reputation of being known as a vampire, as he believed it would grant him greater strength.
