Aredath Balar (Also known as Aredath "Alren" Balar) is a human from Kul Tiras. Born in Boralus he enlisted in the Kul Tiras Marine Corps at a young age and participated in the 2nd war. Due to his service he rose through the ranks to eventually become Brigadier General of the 2nd battalion, having been in infantry for most of his career. (For a short period of time after completing the royal Naval Academy he was commissioned as a Fleet Admiral for the Fifth Fleet.) He is the current Commanding Officer of the 2nd battalion, Kul Tiras Marines, attached to the Fifth Fleet.

Aredath is a large, plain looking man. He stands at near 6'4 and weighs over 230lbs. His posture and presence revealed a near lifetime of military service- much of it being an officer. His hair and his eye color were both a dark, muddy brown. His face looked weathered and scarred- from a lifetime of close combat. His nose looks as if it had been broken a few times.
History[]
Aredath Alren Balar was born in 8 L.C. to a commoner family in Boralus. It is said that when Aredath's mother gave birth to him, Lord Admiral Daelin broke into tears of joy. By the age of 2, he held his first sword, and by the age of 6, he killed his first pirate. Above all else, even at the age of 12, he killed his first Blackblood after the conclusion of the First War. This left him ripe and ready to join the Marines at the outbreak of the Second War, when he was at his prime age of 15.
