The August Celestials (or simply the Celestials) are four powerful beings that watch over Pandaria. They are Wild Gods, the same type of creature as the Ancients and many Loa, but stayed in Pandaria instead of Kalimdor. In addition, each specialization of Monk revolves around an August Celestial; Brewmasters revere Niuzao, Windwalkers fight with the fury of Xuen, and Mistweavers call upon the aid of Yu'lon and Chi-Ji.
Temples of the Celestials[]
There are four respective temples dedicated to August Celestials in whole of Pandaria. Each of them houses the followers and monks dedicated to serve them.
- Chi-Ji has the Temple of the Red Crane in Krasarang Wilds, in southern Pandaria, which houses the Crane Wing Order.
- Niuzao has the Niuzao Temple in Townlong Steppes, in western Pandaria, which houses the Niuzao Sentinels.
- Xuen has the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai Summit, in northern Pandaria, which houses an unnamed "elite force of martial priests" which is assumed to be the Shado-Pan.
- Yu'lon has the Temple of the Jade Serpent in the Jade Forest, in eastern Pandaria, which houses the Order of the Cloud Serpent.
