The Barony of Lakehaven is a small, Northern Elwynn Forest Feudal Barony, built during and after the eruption of the Cataclysm.
Formerly the location of the King’s Royal Hunting Grounds, the Barony of Lakehaven was built due to destruction and loss of forestry in the region. Massive water-falls erupted from the once wooded vale, and several lakes and ponds sprung up in every area.

The Barony of Lakehaven is filled with primarily farmers and Guardsmen, looking to be near the city but also have a countryside way of life. The Wollerton Stead, the Barony’s largest farm is overseen by the House of Aedrenn itself and is used by the Baron and the Baroness as a Summer Cottage and Countryside Home.
The Barony includes most of the lower valley, and a very small portion of the upper valley. The entire Barony is protected by The Sixth Division of theStormwind City Guard, and therefore houses many high-ranked members of the Guard and several esquires who seek training in a close proximity to their teachers.
