Located in north-western Duskwood, Riverwall is a small barony held by the House of Tate-Pureheart. It is situated along the river that divides Duskwood from Westfall and the Elwynn Forest, and also shares a border with the town of Raven Hill.
The barony consists of one large town, Riverwall Township, and two villages; Ravenswood and Tamar. While recent reconstruction efforts have seen Riverwall Township thrive, Tamar has only just entered a rebuilding phase and Ravenswood still lies in ruins, a victim of Duskwood's unfortunate history.

Riverwall takes has its name due to the rivers that form the majority of its borders. Along the riverbanks, some minor strips of land have retained the bright beauty of Elwynn, allowing limited,small scale farming. Elsewhere, however, the land has become as dark and twisted as the rest of Duskwood.
Besides the rivers, the barony is bordered by the Raven Hill Cemetery and the Embaria Forest, which also extends into Riverwall itself. The dense forest, combined with the constant threat of the undead, feral worgens, graverobbers, and necromancers, give Riverwall a gloomy and almost claustrophobic atmosphere that is heightened by Duskwood's state of perpetual twilight.
