The Black Forest is a mountainous forested region in the northwestern Hinterlands. Adjacent to the Eastweald and greater Plaguelands, it is known for its rough terrain and dark evergreen woods. It has been subtly corrupted by the influence of the nearby Plaguelands in a similar manner to Tirisfal and Silverpine, resulting in a perpetual gloom over the woods.
