Blood War Bonds & Philanthropy Act[]

An act to temporarily permit the Ministry of Commerce to process bonds sold to fund the efforts of the Blood War and to formally establish the Philanthropy Board as a permanent structure within the Ministry of Commerce..

By the will of the King and the Household of Wrynn, and with advisement and review by the Lords Temporal of Stormwind and by the same authority, it shall be enacted that:—

I DEFINITIONS[]

  1. “War Bonds” shall refer to those War Bonds issued in accordance with this act and is not to be confused with any other bonds issued by the Kingdom of Stormwind.

II PERMIT FOR THE SALE OF BONDS[]

  1. The Ministry of Commerce shall be permitted to process the sale of War Bonds for the duration of the Blood War.

III VALUE OF BONDS[]

  1. Each War Bond shall have a purchase value of one-hundred (100) gold sovereigns.

IV  RECORD OF BONDS[]

  1. All War Bonds sold shall be recorded on a Blood War Bond Roll.

V SALE OF BONDS[]

  1. All issued War Bonds sold must be validated by the issuing Lord High Exchequer.

  2. A receipt of all sales of War Bonds shall be issued to the Ministry of Commerce and to the bondholder.

  3. No War Bond shall be considered valid without--

    1. A valid receipt issued by the issuing Lord High Exchequer which includes-

      1. The signature of the issuing Lord High Exchequer.

      2. The signature of the bondholder.

    1. A record on the Blood War Bond Roll.

  1. All proceeds from the sale of War Bonds shall be deposited directly to the Ministry of Commerce Philanthropy Board funds.

    1. The Philanthropy Board, as established under Lord High Exchequer Galmone Aurum, shall be formally established as a permanent organization under the purview of the Ministry of Commerce.

VI PURCHASING OF BONDS[]

  1. War Bonds shall be available only to citizens of the Kingdom of Stormwind.

  2. A commoner shall be allowed to purchase bonds worth up to one-thousand (1,000) gold sovereigns in value per calendar year.

  3. A noble shall be allowed to purchase bonds worth up to ten-thousand (10,000) gold sovereigns in value per calendar year.

VII REDEMPTION OF BONDS[]

  1. No War Bonds shall be eligible for redemption until one (1) year after the conclusion of the Blood War.

  2. All War Bonds shall be reimbursed at five percent (5%) interest.

  3. Redemption of War Bonds shall be overseen by the Ministry of Commerce.

VIII SHORT TITLE & COMMENCEMENT[]

  1. The short title for this act shall be the “Bonds & Philanthropy Act”.

  2. The provisions of this act shall come into force immediately.
