The Dalaran Crater.
The Dalaran Crater is located in the North-West part of the Hillsbrad Foothills on the shore of Lordamere Lake. It was once the location of the city of Dalaran, but the city was moved in the early parts of the Nexus War to Northrend to be in a better position to wage war.
Overview[]
While it is mostly just ruins surrounding the crater there are still members of the Kirin Tor there to protect the land. After the move the area has become increasingly unstable and is a risk to the surrounding areas. Members of the Kirin Tor work around the clock to make sure the crater does not grow any larger. They are also there to make sure no one tries to use the energies left behind by the city. While the actually city is no longer there the Kirin Tor still views the crater and the lands around it to be a part of Dalaran and subject to their jurisdiction and rule.
