Dawn's bastion is notably known for its location in the high peaks of the mountains east of Quel'thalas. Many of the peaks held remnants of the Amani Tribe of trolls native to the region. The city was centered around an elven temple built for the worship of the holy light, and admiration of the sun. When the settlers chose this region, they sensed the natural nexus of leylines from beneath the peak, and chose to settle even though the base of the temple was built on an Amani Temple's base. The architecture of the city is thalassian, and there are many arcane towers, spires, and magical defenses placed throughout the city. Arcane sentries remain ever vigilant of marauding trolls, or pockets of undead left nearby from the remains of the third-war.
