The Earldom of the Howling Woods is a new delegation of power created by Duke Berenal Grayblade shortly after the first movements into the Reclamation of Taenia. Made as a consolidation of power for Grayblade reign alongside the re-orderings of noble power in the Bite, the Howling Woods were created as a central form of the Duke's power, containing the capitol, Shorfall as an industrial power house, and maintaining aid for the vigil of the Dark Woods with the inclusion of Blackfall Reach.
