The Fel Badge was pioneered by the Magitech Engineers of The Highguard for their tour in the Grand Alliance Invasion of Tanaan. The badge is clipped onto the belt, and produces an arcane field around the wearer that greatly reduces the effects of ambient fel. Absolute nullification is still unachieved and perhaps impossible. The fel badge has three stages:
This is the beginning stage of a new Fel Badge. The crystal matrix that powers the field is still above 50%, and radiates a healthy blue colour.
Stage two of the Fel Badge begins when the power source of the matrix reaches 50% capacity. It turns yellow to indicate such a thing.
The final stage of the Fel Badge begins at around 10%, where the crystal matrix has become saturated with the fel it was blocking to the point of it itself turning green. Function is diminished. This colour advises the wearer that the badge will soon stop functioning altogether.
