Ander Burnside is the current leader of the Westfall Separatists, an organization founded on the belief that the Stormwind elites should no longer have control of Westfall.
Description[]
Given his Kul Tiran heritage, Ander is an imposing figure and stands nearly 7 feet tall, though in his old age he has shrunk considerably. His rough, gray hair and patchy unkept mutton chops do their best to hide his scarred and oily face, and he kept the same appearance for nearly three decades, making him an easily identifiable figure. His right eye is covered by an aged leather patch, while the rest of his aged sun baked skin is covered in mismatched and battered armor. His dry cracked lips and jagged misaligned teeth, paired with his downward crooked nose, do him no favors.
History[]
Born to poor peasants in the barren fields of Westfall, Ander was the youngest of eight, and the only child of his parents still alive.
His grandparents emigrated to Stormwind from Kul Tiras. He worked as a farmhand for the first eighteen years of his life before enlisting in the Stormwind Army to help battle against the newly invading orcs. Over time he grew more and more disenfranchised with Stormwind, specifically the way Westfallians were treated by the city elite.
By the time of the Third War, he had moved back home to father's modest homestead until his father passed a couple year's later. After seeing his fellow denizens starve and the rise of Defias Brotherhood in his own town because of Stormwind's greed, Ander began stocking weapons and armor in order to launch his separatist movement.
Personality[]
Ander is somewhat of an alcoholic, and has mean streaks. But for the most part he considers himself an easy going, natural leader. He cares of little of personal power or fortune.
Relationships[]
Married twice, with 6 kids between both marriages. He is only amicable one of his children, however.
