Astrilette Lunetoile is the youngest daughter of House Lunetoile, a popular and esteemed Suramari noble house composed mainly of astronomers and astromancers. As a young astronomer, Astrilette wanders the world, going on one-year journeys from place to place to catalogue the journey of the stars in the night sky throughout the year, and discovering their secrets.
Description[]
Astrilette is a youthful Shal'dorei, her skin a deep turquoise. It is evident to most that she is a very young adult, however she could likely get away with saying that she simply uses beauty products to maintain her youthful visage.
The property of Astrilette's appearance that many would notice first is her size. She is not obese or overweight, but she is surely much more fat than the other Shal'dorei, who tend to have slim figures. She has a round and somewhat floppy belly, a face with chubby cheeks and large lips, and her arms and legs are much thicker than most. Her large figure has also blessed her with a rather ample bust and rear.
More often than not, Astrilette chooses to organize her moderately long nightsky-black hair into a bun behind her head, but sometimes she can also be seen allowing it to flow down as normal. Her eyes of pale indigo sparkle like stars in the night sky, surrounded by lavish eyeshadow of flowing blacks, blues, and purples, like a nebula. She tends to wear a dark indigo blush, as well as lipstick of a purple color which matches her eyeshadow.
Clothing[]
Astrilette's favorite article of clothing is surely her fluffy purple sweater, which covers her neck and sleeves, and is a bit oversized, reaching down to her lower waist. It is enchanted with a warmth spell, and thus she tends to keep it open, baring her typically white undershirt, which varies by the day but is typically a tight fitting V-neck. Her leggings are a light grey, and rather tight, exposing the true size of her legs, while the sweater makes her look a bit more fat than she truly is. She wears finely made purple shoes with proper laces and soles. She also wears a silver necklace inlaid with purple gems hanging from chains and encrusting the silver neckpiece. She wears silver earrings which line the bottoms of her ears, and she is rarely seen without her purple backpack, strapped over her shoulders and hanging down to her waist.
History[]
Astrilette is the youngest of the daughters of the Lunetoile family, an esteemed noble family of astromancers and all those who study the nature of the Great Dark and the stars beyond Azeroth. A recent addition to the family, she grew up in times of turmoil, under the influence of the Legion and the Grand Magistrix as a teenager.
Youth[]
As a child, Astrilette did not go to school, rather taking private home lessons from family friends, including Star Augur Etraeus. With newfound knowledge, she took passion in the more logical fields of astromancy, classifying herself as an astronomer rather than an astromancer, despite a slight bit of arcane affinity that she was taught as well. She took great inspiration in the boundless infinite not only beyond Suramar but beyond Azeroth, taking pride in studying the more unusual kinds of astronomical objects that the outer reaches have to offer, in nature and numbers alike.
Legion[]
Astrilette was silent throughout the Legion's invasion, spending the vast majority of her time locked in her room, likely out of fear. Her family did not side with Elisande, but they did not rebel either, remaining neutral and taking a knee for the Grand Magistrix whenever such was necessary. Astrilette is typically uncomfortable with sharing her memories of the invasion.
Astronomical Studies[]
After Suramar was liberated, Astrilette began to explore the other parts of Azeroth, not due to wanderlust, but rather to learn more about the view of the stars and the calculations behind it, from different places of the world, seeing how they varied from one place to another. Much of these studies took place during the Fourth War, which she made all efforts to avoid, returning home if she ever felt the slightest bit threatened.

Personality[]
Astrilette is quite literally a starchaser, following along to wherever her astronomical studies take her. With her trusty notebook, quill, and inkwell, she visits many places to take notes on the region's view of the stars at night, making doodles and sketches of each astronomical object she studies, as well as complex mathematical expressions far beyond the understanding of most.
As a member of a popular noble family, Astrilette takes manners, etiquette, beauty, and personal hygiene very seriously. Although she is not good at speaking Orcish, she tries her best to be friendly and respectful to everyone she comes across, which is surely better taken when she is speaking in Shalassian to her fellow Shal'dorei. She always dons lavish clothing and makeup, and wears perfume, putting good first impressions on others with the scents of lavender and chamomile. To many who appreciate respectful demeanors, Astrilette may come across as charming, despite her potentially undesirable figure.
Astrilette's attitude is outgoing, and sometimes can be percieved as spunky, artsy, childish, and even cute, although she tends to be reserved and secretive until people open up to her. She can even be a bit overly emotional when others around her are being hateful or mentioning sensitive topics. She loves to teach new people about her discoveries in the stars, and she likes to be creative, imagining wondrous things, drawing them, and sometimes reaching to the stars in hopes that they may one day be tangible.
Beliefs[]
Astrilette is a major pacifist, strictly opposed to conflict and strife, always looking for diplomatic matters of settling discord. However, when conflict does arise, she is easily scared off by it, often retreating to faraway places, depending on the scale of the conflict.
She believes that everyone has a chance to do good, even those who are unfathomably stupid or have entirely lost their minds, making her naive in such senses. Regardless, she is always wanting to help and to teach.
Relationships[]
Astrilette has developed deep connections with her family and with many other noble families throughout Suramar. Her time spent in Orgrimmar has also granted her many friendships.
