Highbark was, and is, a land within Rockvale deep within its south on Trollbane hunting grounds. The Lords and Ladies there have defended this forest for several millenia up until the death of the last known heir during the Third War.

Modern Highbark[]
Upon the marriage of Sir Erolel and Mother Nazarath Rosewood (34 L.C.), they were granted the land on the isle of Highbark, given allegations that Sir Erolel's family was once secured as a lesser noble family in Rockvale. Duke Stromheart them both with the crowns of office as well as documents to recognise their claim to the isle.
The newlyweds began the process of restoring the woodlands to be hospitable for their new family they planned to begin. However, after a series of unfortunate political events, the relationship between Tenevus and Nazarath became strained. The couple came to the decision it was best to relinquish their positions as baron and baroness of Highbark. Nazarath sent a letter to Tenevus to formalize the resignation, yet it is unknown whether or whether not Stromheart accepted their resignation. Regardless, the couple and Duke Stromheart have ceased communication with one another since (35 L.C.)

Importance[]
Highbark holds, without question, some of the largest and most imposing trees in all the Alliance. Thick and strong, almost as iron, these trees provide a massive source of income to the seat of Highbark. It is a logging community and has been so since the dawn of the region.
