Before this was a house, the Millborne family was a humble family that served Stormwind as soldiers in the military or small farmstead from Westfall. Not hesitating to answer the call to fight and protect the kingdom lands from Stormwind's threats from trolls, Duebury Millborne joined in the fray rising to the ranks to a Captian.
After the Gurubashi War, Duehbury Millborne would move his family from Westfall to the military keep which would be named after him, Duehbury Keep. He believed strongly by not keeping military forces within Strangle thorn it would open up an opportunity for the trolls to attack Stormwind again. Duehbury was determine make the keep a solidified stronghold to the south of Stormwind to keep enemies out. What he did not expect was the men loyal to him during the Gurubashi wars would stay trying to accomplish his dream.
During the first few years times were tough as the terrain of Stranglethorn was rough on many of the people who stayed there. The outposts near the area would suffer attacks from the wilds frequently. But Duehbury and his family were determine set backs such as the wilds would not determine them. As time went by Duehbury's courage and strong determination would not only allow his keep to flourish but so did his family.
For their service in the Gurubashi war and impressive show of keeping a stronghold going in Stranglethorn they were awarded with a noble title and allowed to declare the area of Galiston as a barony. For Millborne they went into the First and Second wars as nobles who fought for their lives. As many houses and Stormwind crumbled, they refuses to bend or fall to the trolls. They grew isolated but stood in defiance in their hidden valley in hopes Stormwind would rise again.
After the second war, when many refugees returned with Prince Varian Wrynn, House Millborne under the much aged Duehbury aided in rebuilding house Stormwind, but refused to have their seat of power in Stranglethorn be moved. Once Stormwind was settled, the family returned to their home in Duehbury keep only to recieve word that the only daughter of Duehbury had been killed and their child Genevieve Reneigh(Jolaini Reneigh) is missing. Lord Duehbury not taking the news well he would eventually pass soon after having the family led by a young Darian Millborne.
Darian Millborne would constantly be scrutinized and compared constantly to his father. He did the best he could to keep his lands stable, but he would never leave his father's shadow. Even upon his recent death, his father's shadow hung over him. Seeing has Darian made no impact or note, Jolaini being the sole survive of the Millborne household she now wears the mantle and like her uncle now meets the same gaze from the barony the Millborne's hold.
