The House of Proudmoore is the ruling house of the Kingdom of Kul Tiras. It is currently led by Jaina Proudmoore, daughter of Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore and former ruler of Theramore Isle, having replaced her mother Katherine following her abdication. As Lord Admirals of Kul Tiras, House Proudmoore holds control over the Kul Tiras Navy and merchant marine, which they maintain with the aid of the Kul Tiras House of Nobles in its dealings with the other nations of Azeroth.
Notable Members
There are several different conflicting sources on who the founder of House Proudmoore was. Certain sources compiled by Kul Tiran historians maintain that Deaglan Proudmoore and his descendants first led the Proudmoores. However, other documents and accounts compiled by other historian societies, ranging from sources dating to the War of Silverpine to other accounts found both at home and in foreign regions instead suggests that Thomas Proudmoore and his successors established Kul Tiras instead.
