A Kirin Tor Signet Ring is a ring given to all members of the Kirin Tor that signifies position and identity to fellow magi. The rings also give access to the Magical Social Netherwork, a spell weave that allows communication by thought among the members connected to it. The rings can be used as focal points for spells and younger members of the Kirin Tor are often encouraged to practice such should they find themselves without their staves or wands. The higher in rank a member is, the more ornate their ring can become. The rings are a thing of pride and reputation among the magi of Dalaran and are seen as an important part of the social culture.
A more advanced variant of the Rings also exist. These Signet Rings of the Six are worn only by Dalaran Archmagi, and often serve as identification when acessing restricted Dalaran artifacts and locations.
