Lunarfall is a joint base of the Grand Alliance recently constructed in Alternate Draenor's Shadowmoon Valley. Designed by Architect Baros Alexston of the Stonemason's Guild, the base hosts several of the Alliance's most prominent heroes and adventurers in the War against the Iron Horde.
Lunarfall was constructed at the behest of Archmage Khadgar and with the aid of the alternate Velen who had led them to a safe location suitable for its construction. Starting off as a small camp, the base received supplies from Stormwind alongside aid from the Stonemason's Guild after Khadgar used his sizable skill with chronomancy and teleportation to temporarily open a rift through time and space to bring them to the area. As a result, this also sent word back to Stormwind that some of the heroes of the "suicide mission" had in fact survived.
The base is currently led by Lieutenant Thorn, a Gilnean woman of sizable repute within the Alliance. She is reportedly leading alongside an Alliance Hero who has been promoted at the word of King Varian Wrynn to help lead the charge. Due to the hero's rather ambiguous nature, few outside of the highest chain of command actually know who they are. Rumors circulate from them being anything from a male gnome death knight to a female worgen hunter. Said commander is known to take frequent departures from their garrison, leaving the day to day up to Lieutenant Thorn. From their efforts, Lunarfall has grown from the camp of humble origins to a base of worthy note.
Later in the war, King Varian Wrynn ordered the construction of a shipyard to begin the invasion of the Tanaan Jungle. With the help of former Iron Horde shipwright Solog Roark, the Lunarfall Shipyard was built upon the coast near the garrison, in the Eventide Bay.
Forward Outposts[]
Various outposts and bases were constructed across Draenor to fight against the Iron Horde. Many of these fell under the authority of the Lunarfall commander.
The Draenor outposts under the command of the Lunarfall garrison include:

- Telaari Station, Nagrand
