Though he possesses the same energies as an eredar would, he has lost faith in Sargeras' "unstoppable" army and now only relies on himself and the pests he summons from the Twisting Nether. Mal'Kanar isn't necessarily evil, yet he is very selfish. He would do anything he can to build himself up, even if that means it would hurt someone else. He has no care for the ground he walks on, and soon hopes to leave his mark upon it.
