The Town of Melton is a modest sized merchant town located in central Lontshire. The town has a very large merchant population, and is considered one of the busier points of business in Elwynn Forest.
History[]
The Town of Melton was founded by charter and degree by the then Baroness Adelita G. Seyfried in 320 K.C., in an effort to drive commerce to the small barony.
Since then, the town has experienced slow and steady growth, though some would say that the growth is marginal compared to the time and coin invested into drawing commerce into the town.
Governance[]
The Town of Melton maintains a popularly elected Mayor of Melton, who acts as the primary administrator and ceremonial master of the town. The mayor is elected for a ten year term. The mayor is styled: The Honorable X, Mayor of Melton.
