The Order of the Beast is a fraternal order of skilled individuals, that is based in the Hinterlands. Famous (or infamous) for their ferocity in battle, they have fought in countless conflicts and campaigns throughout Azeroth, historically doing so on behalf of the Alliance. They seek to better the world and make it a better place for those they care about, by whatever means are necessary.

"A long time ago I could never imagine seeing so many gathered for the same cause. A long time ago I could've never hoped to have achieved such greatness in what feels like such little time. But it was never truly by my hand that we are how we are now. No, it was by the strength and honor of those who stood beside me, as we looked upon the face of the enemy, that we strive to become something better - something more than what anybody asked of us.

And yet in the end I feel that's what people need to see inside themselves - in order to become something better, something...greater; All they need to do is look, think and act, to brush away the selfishness of everyday life and to give something back to the world. Our world. When I look in the eyes of every man, woman, and child, I know that I remain steadfast in doing the right thing. I can rest assured that for every member of the Order of the Beast, our great guild grows stronger, not through arrogance and callousness, but through our humble attitude and profound way of life, always standing against the tide of darkness that is the Horde war machine.

IC Information

The Order of the Beast was founded by Kamara Eskevaldi in the early days of the War Against the Lich King. The earliest date on record of the Order of the Beast being in operation, is the last day of the 3rd month, of the year 27. The Order of the Beast, from its inception, has operated out of Aerie Peak. This is thanks to a mutual partnership between Kamara and the Order of the Beast, and the Wildhammer Dwarves. This partnership holds stronger than ever today. Once a regimented military operation, the Order has evolved over the years into a collection of keen minds, skilled hands, and sound wills - a found family of sorts, with strong, well-tested bonds.

The Order of the Beast, since its founding days, has been a part of every major conflict on Azeroth. In their early days, the Order operated in Northrend, in the war against the Lich King, as well as in small-scale operations against the Horde across the continent. The Order was a part of the multi-guild organization named AEGIS, and later, The Bulwark. When the Lich King fell and the Cataclysm rocked the planet, they took the fight to the Horde - fighting the Horde war machine at every turn! They are particularly known even to this day for their ferocity and displays of aggression on the battlefronts against the Horde under Commander Eskevaldi, in the Alliance-Horde War. Even when the Horde's aggression had ceased, the Order of the Beast kept a watchful eye on their activities, doing what they could do keep the Horde down even while both factions were engaged against the Iron Horde and the Burning Legion.

With the outbreak of the Fourth War, the Order of the Beast leapt into action again, to ensure the Horde could not harm any further innocent lives and make sure the people of the Alliance were safe from Horde aggression. During the early stages of the conflict, Kamara suffered grave injuries, and vanished from the field. Casylia quickly assumed leadership of the Order, and led the Order for the majority of the war. Almost immediately, Casylia would resume the ferocious and aggressive tactics of her predecessor - at times, even bringing them to new heights of cruelty. The Order of the Beast acted as a key presence in the fighting on Kul Tiras and Zandalar - specifically for their work in the Eastweald and Lordaeron, Zandalar, Stromgarde, and Vashj'ir - up until the very end of the war.

When the war ended, the Order began independent operations to help dislodge the encroaching Old God and his forces, and were successful in their efforts - though rumors still swirl around the particulars of what happened in those days. Some whisperings say that it was the Order of the Beast themselves who slew N'Zoth, though the sources and their words are still disputed to this day. And so, the Order of the Beast licked the few wounds it suffered during the war, and prepared for the next. In their opinion, another war with the Horde is inevitable - it is not a matter of if it will happen, but when. And when it does, the Order will be ready, teeth sharpened and bared.

They didn't have to wait long for trouble to begin to stir up! The resurgence of the Scourge caused no small bit of trouble for the Order of the Beast. Not only did they have to contend with a rising tide of undead at their gates, but Casylia fell in battle and was taken by the enemy in the opening assault upon Aerie Peak. Pulling themselves together and resolving to get their friend and leader back (and thus, get paid!), the Order of the Beast undertook a quest to overcome death itself. Breaking into the thought-impenetrable Tower of the Damned, Torghast, they succeeded in both liberating Casylia as well as stopping a previously unknown threat within the Shadowlands. With their leader in tow, they blasted their way out of the Shadowlands, and returned home! And while things were shifting and changing on Azeroth, the Order of the Beast would confront it, together.

OOC Information

<Order of the Beast> is an over-10 year old RP guild. Founded in the early days of Wrath of the Lich King, we pride ourselves on our level of personal expertise, and seek to grow and help others reach their potential as players. A friendly and tight-knit community defines the guild, and a welcoming group of officers and guild-mates alike has been built from that definition.

Our RP community is versatile, active, and not quite like any other guild you'll find on Moon Guard. Intense developments of characters, social relations, and RP events bring a new depth to the guild and its members. New to RP? Don't worry! Our excellent chain of command is thrilled to introduce any and all to the world of RP. We'll make sure you can portray your character exactly the way you want, familiarize you with the fascinating aspects of Lore within the game, and have a great time with great friends!

While we are an RP guild, members of our guild partake in every aspect of the game. Raiding, PvP, PvE, RP, you name it! There will always be members eager and ready to make your experience with WoW a fun one! Ours represent some of the best that you'll find on Moon Guard!
