Late into a summer night of the year thirty and three, two shadowy figures accused of necromancy were slain at the Tranquil Garden Cemetery in connection with reports of increased undead activity in the region. It is rumored that the two individuals slain owed their allegiance to the Scourge, though that remains unconfirmed. Their bodies were both turned to ash by Aellonse Highshard and the paladins, Xiondar and Barlos—who both affiliate with the Northshire Templar. The necromancers were reportedly tortured for information and documents were retrieved from their bodies. However, because they were written in another language, their contents remain unknown.
These necromancers, with a dubious affiliation with the Scourge, claimed to be searching for an object of great importance.
