The Scythe of Elune was an ancient Kaldorei artifact well known for it's involvement with the Worgen Curse. It was blessed with great powers from the Moon Goddess, Elune and was afixed with a fang of Goldrinn.
Originally, the Scythe was used to fight back Satyr during the War between the Saytr and Kaldorei dubbed the War of the Saytr.
The Scythe was not only used to summon and create the Worgen Curse, it was also utilized to summon Worgen back prior to the Invasion of Gilneas and began the formation of the Wolf Cult.
