Skogres are a skeletal ogres that have been risen into undeath. While equally as terrifying as their fleshy counterparts, they are notably more fragile, and can be slower, due to their difficulty in supporting the weight of their immense frames. Often, they would burst from Zogre corpses or graves during the conflict against Gor'vosh the Eternal, crushing their unsuspecting foes to death and dragging their mutilated bodies to their dark masters for reanimation. Their name is a portmanteau of "skeleton" and "ogre".
