Summersgrove is a small town in the Eastern Plaguelands and the common home of the Priesthood of the Beyond where both sects of the faith coexist and work as a single union. It is regarded as a sacred site to the Priesthood.
For events such as the Day of the Dead or Hallow's End, the Priesthood typically gathers in Summersgrove to celebrate these holidays. However, Summersgrove can also serve as a location for communication between the two sects. It is consistently maintained by tenders who ensure the safety of the town.
History[]
The town was founded some time after the migration of the original Harvest Witches to the east, where they established their own community isolated from the Kingdom of Lordaeron. Summersgrove became a sacred site for the Priesthood where they all lived until the division caused by the admission of Vularad, a Lich, into the Priesthood.
Though a sect split off from the faith and began to travel south, they later returned to Summersgrove to celebrate their traditions and were met with conflict from the northern sect. In the dispute that followed, both sects finally came to a cordial agreement that neither side of the faith could live in Summersgrove and that it would remain a holy site tended by select individuals.
