The Sunsworn are a military force of Blood Elves. Headed by the Blood Knights, they have combined forces with rangers and magi and based themselves in Talador. They have also deployed the blood elves' recently-acquired blood golem technology.
They are led by the Blood Knight Matriarch, Lady Liadrin. They serve as the Horde equivalent of the Auchenai.
After disposing of the Iron Horde forces with the aid of Legion agents, Teron'gor and his Shadow Council servitors began besieging Auchindoun in order to seize the sacred Draenei precinct—where the souls of departed Draenei rest—for their own twisted ends. Noticing the demonic corruption, Lady Liadrin and the Sunsworn rushed to its aid, pledging to join forces with the Auchenai in defending Auchindoun and Shattrath City from the Legion.
