Thorband Fortindun is the current Commander of the Fifth Fleet Marines of Kul Tiras, choosing the Second Battalion <Kul Tiras Marines> as a unit which he personaly oversees. He is in command of what force Kul Tiras sends abroad these days.
Description[]
Thorband Darren Fortindun was a fine figure of an officer, from his eye monocle, to his bristling mustache-to the highly polished buttons on his freshly brushed regimental uniform, down to the short swagger-cane he carried. The Brigadier was smart as paint, and old-school to the rigid backbone.
History[]
Thorband was born to a fairly wealthy family, his father a merchant owning several ships- and his mother an Ensign in Kul Tiras' fleet- by no means a Nobleman. As expected, he went to Kul Tiras' Royal Naval Accademy and accepted a commision as an officer early on in his life. Serving in both Kul Tiras' Navy and Marine Corps during the First and Second War, rising to Command after the Second. In the years following the Second War, Thorband worked his way up through the ranks of Kul Tiras' legendary Marine Corps, eventualy rising to command a Battalion, then a Brigade of his own. He leads his men with a firm and nationalistic command.
