The Thyrin War refers to a series of conflicts against the Thyrin Cult. The war began when House Lightstrider and Serana Dawnsinger sought revenge for the death of Berwyn Lightstrider.

First Impact[]

The first battle of the war was the attack on Theradin's Hillsbrad experiment camp. House Lightstrider was largely successful, but Theradin considered it a minor loss.

Retaking Dawnshire[]

The second battle to take place in the war was the reclaiming of Dawnshire, where the House Lightstrider was met with minimal forces from the Thyin Cult.

The Battle of Ferwich[]

The Battle of Ferwich was a major loss for the Order of Dawnshire. Gorlog Skullhidder and his clan raised an amalgamation made of several dragons into undeath and sent it upon the rebuilding Dawnshire-Controlled fortress of Ferwich. Gorlog waited until the right moment to attack, when Serana appeared to inspect Amelina's training Crimson Templars. Although the Templars and Dawnshire attempted to hold their ground, the result was a Thyrin victory and decimation of the Hand of Dathrohan.

Thyrin Assault on Dawn's Peak[]

The Thyrin Cult launched a largely successful attack against the people of Dawn's Peak but were ultimately driven into a stalemate by Amelina's leadership. After this stalemate the war has since gone quiet.

Serana was satisfied with helping the Lightstriders reclaim the peak, and pulled her forces out of the war soon afterwards, with the vow that if the Thyrin Cult launched an offensive she would dedicate her forces to defend Dawn's Peak as much as required.

Pressing the Attack[]

After Serana left the Thyrin War to focus on retaking Quel'Damor, Dalren continued to assault the Thyrin Cult's bases, however the Cult has maintained a strong foothold. The war has since come to a stalemate as the House of Lightstrider tries to attack the island fortress of Valamore.
