A Mana Horse without a rider.

Toberton's Mana Horse is a variation of the mana horse spell. It was developed by Toberton Knotrum during his time in the Stormwind Army

Overview[]

Toberton's version of the mana horse spell allows for the caster to not spend huge amounts of mana maintaining the horse over long periods of time. This is achieved by using a mana crystal as the spell's focal point allowing the mana from the initial conjuration to last longer, the crystal also allows the caster to focus better and use the mana needed to maintain the horse with more efficiency than without the crystal. The mana horse can be used by the caster as a mode of transportation without the drawbacks of a living horse, such as feeding and resting. The only limitation is the casters own reserve of mana.

Casting the Spell[]

The only component for casting Toberton's Mana Horse is the aforementioned mana crystal. It may be worn or kept in a pocket. The caster can pick a command word and, given the caster abilities, speak or think that command word to focus their mana into the crystsal and summon the mana horse before them. It may take casters new to the spell several tries to get the horse to look right, but anyone who has previously cast the mana horse spell will have no trouble. To dismiss the mana horse the caster must once again utter or think the command word. This spell is the same level as the regular mana horse spell and should only be taught to apprentices capable of intermediate level spells in the conjuration school of magic.
