The shield protecting the Violet Stand.
The Violet Stand is a small camp located in Crystalsong Forest, in Northrend. It is home to several Warmages and members of the Kirin Tor. It was once used to house the teleportation gem that allowed people to teleport up to the city floating above. Currently it is still being occupied by the Kirin Tor, and is now used to monitor Northrend and for researching and developing spells. It is also home to the warmage training grounds. Despite its importance in the Dalaran military structure it is largely left alone by many outside the Kirin Tor, mostly because people assume the organization left the area completely when the city moved.
