The War Against Xauluron, also known as the Second War Against the Twilight's Hammer, is an ongoing conflict centered between the forces of the Horde and the Twilight's Hammer within Stonetalon Mountains.

Prelude[]
When Karigal Felscorn returned to the Shatter Scythe Clan, he sought to uncover the mystery behind Nok'rash Razorhand's elusive heir, Nok'wol Razorhand. He soon found the orc within the clutch of the Twilight's Hammer, and the combined efforts of the Shatter Scythe managed to liberate the prodigal son. From there, Karigal bestowed the regent leadership of the clan unto Nok'wol, and promised vengeance on the Twilight's Hammer by striking at their nascent takeover within Stonetalon Mountains.
Assembly at Sun Rock[]
The first order of business within Stonetalon was to seek out allies with a common enemy. The native tauren were of course a reasonable choice for such an alliance. Karigal proceeded to coordinate a meeting between the Shatter Scythe Clan and the tauren of Sun Rock Retreat.
As the clan gathered within Sun Rock, they managed to gain an audience with the village elder, known as Moweshal, and his apprehensive advisor, Bloodhorn. Moweshal explained that a water elemental had been assaulting the village for some time, and that the tauren would lend the Shatter Scythe their aid if they dealt with the elemental menace. The clan agreed to these terms, and set out to vanquish the aqueous menace.
After a trek down one of Stonetalon's many winded trails, the Shatter Scythe eventually came across the elemental known as Submergion within the Ruins of Eldre'thar. The watery abberation put up a violent fight, but was eventually subdued and sent spiraling back to the Elemental Plane. Victory in hand, the Shatter Scythe proceeded to return to Sun Rock in order to inform the elder of their success.
Unfortunately, Submergion had been an apparent ruse intended to distract the Shatter Scythe. While they were preoccupied, the treacherous Bloodhorn revealed himself to be a member of the Twilight's Hammer, and proceeded to assault Sun Rock with the help of his like minded agents. As the clan came across the shaken village, they quickly proceeded to locate Moweshal, only to witness the tauren's final words as Bloodhorn executed the wounded elder. The Shatter Scythe hastily fought against the high cultist, and while Bloodhorn had the upper hand in ravaging the village, he was no match for the combined might of the Shatter Scythe.
With Bloodhorn's traitorous actions mostly dealt with, the remaining tauren that had survived the ambush pledged themselves to the Shatter Scythe's cause. A renewed alliance in hand, the two groups set their sights on the Hammer's demise.
