Yulmon's Plight is a small valley located in the southwestern mountains of the lands now known as the Eastern Plaguelands. While once a bright and fertile valley, the land was captured during the early onset of the Third War. Tens of thousands that once inhabited the valley were quickly converted to the ranks of the Undead Scourge.
Years since the Third War, the land is still a fortress and a testament to the Scourge's might in the Eastern Kingdoms. It is primarily held by the Order of Dusk, an order within the Scourge. The Scourge garrison is being led by a massive nerubian named Yulmon, the new namesake for the valley. Before Yulmon and the Scourge arrived, it was simply called the Crescent Vale.
The valley is covered in rolling hills and the ruins of long since abandoned towns and villages. In life it was known for some of the best carrot crops Lordaeron had ever seen. In death, the valley is now known for ruin and misfortune to all who seek to enter it. The Scourge make their capital out of an abandoned town, nicknamed "Yulmon's Pen."
